98. 妖由人興也。 人無釁焉 ，
妖不自作。 人棄常,則妖興。
【白話】(申繻回答魯莊公說: )
反常怪異之事物的產生是由於人造成的。
人若自己沒有罪過,反常怪異之事物不能自己興起。
人丟棄了常道, 反常怪異之事物就會產生。
98. Shen Xu replied Duke Zhuang of ghe State of Lu:
"Bizarre things and events are man-made. If human beings do not
commit any faults, biarre things do not arise by themselves.
If humans abandon the law of nature,
bizarre things and events are bound to happen"
